In the winter the area has cross country ski trails close to the cabin, and Kongsberg skicenter is 30 minutes away by car. It is minigolf court 9 kilometre away. For those who like to experience norwegian history, it is recommended to visit "Heddal Stavkirke" and "Heddal bygdetun".
