Located in the traditional riverside village of Amieira, in the county of Portel, the hotel is around a 15-minute drive from Portel, 30 minutes from the historical town of Monsaraz and also close to Évora.Built and renovated in 2012, the country house offers accommodation units spread throughout the village, where the residents open their arms to visitors. Fully renovated, they provide maximum comfort in a pleasant village environment. With different types (T0, T1 and T2), the village houses are fully equipped and offer guests the chance to get to know a village full of new faces and feelings and different lives.The 5 fully renovated village houses have a rustic-modern feel and come in three different types: T0, T1 and T2. All houses come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and toiletries, and offer a double bed. The houses also come equipped with a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Internet access, a radio, and a kitchen with a fridge, stove, hood, and facilities for guests to prepare their own meals. They also have individually regulated air conditioning and central heating.Using local operators, it is possible to go boating on Lake Alqueva or take out the kayaks. Other activities are also offered by the lake. This is an excellent region for biking or hiking and even within the village guests can visit producers of traditional sausages and honey.Breakfast is served in the homes, served in welcoming picnic baskets, featuring regional produce of guests' choice and at the time that suits best.Take the IP2 from Évora to Beja, and exit for Portel. At the roundabout take the Amieira exit. From Spain via Barrancos, follow signs to Moura/Alqueva/Amieira. From Reguengos, take the exit for S. Marcos do Campo/Amieira.
